The Denison Municipal Utilities' are administered by a five person Board of Trustees. The Trustees serve six year terms. They are appointed by the Mayor and this appointment must be approved by the City Council.
The current DMU Board Chairman is Steve Martens who is the President of Denison Wells Fargo Bank. Steve was appointed on the DMU Board in 1994 and became Board Chairman in 2003.

DMU Vice Chairman is Brad Nelson who is an Attorney at Norelius and Nelson Law Firm. Brad was appointed to the DMU Board February, 2008.
 
Board Member, Nancy Bradley is a Loan Assistant at Bank Iowa. Nancy was re-appointed to the DMU Board in February, 2010. 

Board Member, Dane Dammen is the owner of Thermal Fab. Dane was appointed to the DMU Board February, 2008.

Board Member, Chad Langenfeld is a part time Insurance Representative at the Hoffman Agency and a self employed Farmer. Chad was appointed to the DMU Board February, 2009.
